Welcome to Grade 8 Math !  

Grade 8 Math is filled with concepts that you will need as a 9th grade student next year. One year from now you will be in a high school Math class in which you will be preparing to take a Regents exam.  This year you will get all the preparation you will need to be successful in that class... IF YOU FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTION AND COMPLETE ALL THE NECESSARY ASSIGNMENTS.

COMPLETING THE WORK AND BEING PREPARED FOR TESTING WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL NOT ONY IN PASSING MY CLASS, BUT DOING WELL AND BEING VERY PREPARED TO SIT IN A NINTH GRADE CLASSROOM 1 YEAR FROM NOW.  

YOU NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING TO MATH CLASS EVERY DAY:

1.  A CALCULTOR

2. YOUR CHARGED CHROMEBOOK

3.  YOUR 2 TEXT BOOKS

4.  YOUR “READY 8 INSTRUCTION” BOOK and “FOUNDATIONS IN ALGEBA WORKBOOK”

5.  A GOOD NOTEBOOK AND SHARPENED PENCILS

PERIODICALLY THERE WILL BE MESSAGES ON THIS PAGE, BUT IN GENERAL , ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM.
