Do: Math pg. 51 both sides of the pg. Use pencil to trace the numbers. Follow the Red arrows. Start at the top of the line and follow the arrows. This will teach your child to write the numbers top to bottom correctly.

Also, practice counting out of order. Ex.45 then 89 etc. Count using the calendar to tell the date and day. Let your child tell you what is the date not counting by 1. Ex. Today is Thursday, November 16,2023.

Please keep practicing the concept of how much more do you add to get to 5?  Ex. you have 4 cubes and how much more to get to 5? (4+1=5), 3 cookies and you need how much to get to 5? (3+2=5) etc. Let your child answer the question in complete sentences.

Keep practicing with your child to identify the beginning sound and ending sound of various words. Ex. hat= h is beginning sound and t for ending sound.

Practice reading stories from the booklets that you have in your Zip-lock bag.

A Nut card means they can dress down for that day instead of their uniform. 

Please remember that the children can dress in costume for Halloween. However, Mrs.DeLuca has asked the teachers to remind the parents, no mask or weapons allowed.

It was great seeing everyone for Our Back to School Night on Thursday. We have a special year ahead for your child. Together we can help them to succeed. Your child can do it. We have to encourage them together.

Do: Reading sheet pg.15 both sides of the pg. Remember to color the letters a different color. This will help your child with letter recognition. Ex. Mm in one color,Nn in another color etc. Maybe Mm in Blue and Nn in Purple. Color the bird and squirrel too. Don’t forget to sign both sides of the pg.

Do: Sheet on the color Black. Please let your child trace the letters top to bottom in pencil. The hat should be Black with Yellow around the belt of the hat. The Penguin’s scarf could be any color. The feet and beak should be Orange.

 We are starting Holy Week. Sunday is Palm Sunday and we wear Red. The children can wear Red on Monday.

Our class is not in the Easter Show. We did the Christmas Show. We have school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of next week. They are full days of school.

Do: Sheet “String Things.” Color all pictures. Color lightly. 

Do: Reading pg. 107 both sides of the page and color all pictures. Use a pencil to write the letter Oo. Do sample letters first. Christmas show is at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, 12/21 for parents. Please make sure the students come into school at the regular arrival time. Please try to arrive early to get a good seat. They perform for the school at 1:00 p.m. (this 1:00 p.m. show is for the students/faculty/staff only).

THERE IS NO PIZZA THIS WEEK.

The Christmas Show is on Wednesday, December, 21, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. for parents. Girls can wear Red or Green dress with Black tights and Black shoes. Boys can wear Red or Green shirt with Black pants and Black shoes.

Do:Reading pg.83 both sides of the pg.Color all pictures. Circle the right answers. For pg. 84 use pencil. Do the sample (Ii)’s first.

Do: Reading pg.71 both sides of the pg. For pg.72 use pencil to trace the letters. Let your child put their name on the paper.

Pizza money is due tomorrow. Put money in an envelope with name on it.

Picture retakes are tomorrow. If you want your child to retake them.

**** Santa Hats are due on Friday. Please put the hat in a Zip lock  bag.

Do: Sheet called “Candy Cane Consonants”. Color all pictures and circle the right answers.                              

Do: Math pg.169 both sides of the pg. Color all pictures neatly.                                

*** Santa Hats are due on Friday. Please make sure the hats are dry from putting their first name in gold glitter or gold stickers. Put hat in Zip lock bag.

Do: Reading booklet called “We Like to Tap”. Fold the booklet and color all pictures. Let your child read to you. Study these Sight Words: I, like, to, the. Add it to the other Sight Words.

Do: Reading pg. 79 both sides of the pg. Color all pictures. Use pencil to trace the letter i.  Just write /i/ for the picture that begins with/i/.

For the pg. 80. Write 2 or 3 sentences about the story. Use pencil to write the sentences.

Pizza money is due on Wednesday.

Santa Hat with your child’s name on the White Fur is due on Friday.

 Do: Reading pg.69 both sides of the page. Color all pictures.

Do: Math pg. 157. Color the cubes. Use pencil to write the numbers. 

Do: Math pg. 159 and pg. 160 (both sides). Color the cubes. Use pencil to write the numbers.

Do: Math pg. 211 and pg. 212 (both sides). Color the cubes. Use pencil to write the numbers.

No school tomorrow, 12/8 due to the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

There is a half day early dismissal on Friday, 12/9 at 12:15 p.m. due to report card meetings.

Do: Reading pg.75 both sides of the pg. Color all pictures. Circle the right answers. For pg.76 Let your child trace the sample word and write the same word next to it in pencil. Color the pictures.

Do: Sheet called “ Blast Off!” Write the beginning letter in pencil. Color the pictures.

There is no school on Thursday. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. It is The Immaculate Conception.

Friday is a half a day. It is Report Card Day. Dismissal will be at 12:15 p.m.  There is no After- School.

 Gym is tomorrow. Sneakers are needed.

If anyone wants to retake their picture. Retakes are on December 14.


Do: Reading sheet called “We Like!” Fold it and make a booklet. Let your child practice reading the booklet. Remember to color all pictures.

Do: pg.61 both sides of the pg. Remember to color all pictures.  Use pencil to write the beginning sound /t/ only.

For pg.62 Use pencil to write 2 to 3 sentences about the story neatly.
